Privacy notice

Who we are. MTD Pulse is run by Jaydan Bis (sole trader), trading as MTD Pulse Research, the data controller. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect. Your firm's numbers for one MTD quarter (client counts, quarterly updates filed, software, time and fees already charged), linked to a random Firm ID, plus a note of how you found the form (for example “newsletter”). We don't ask for your firm name, client names or UTRs. If we hold your email, it is kept in a separate list linked only by Firm ID.

Firm ID. If you arrive without an invite link, your browser creates a random Firm ID (starting MP-G) for this submission; it is not linked to your identity and is not stored on your device.

Why. To publish aggregated benchmarks and an Issue Board, and to show you your own comparison.

Lawful basis. Your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw at any time by emailing us your Firm ID. We handle deletion requests within 14 days. Figures already published stay as aggregates; they cannot identify you.

Where it is stored. The form is hosted by Tally (Belgium; data stored in the EU). We export responses to our own systems and delete them from Tally within 7 days of each wave closing. We do not use Google Sheets.

How long. 3 years from submission, then deleted.

Who sees it. Only us. We never sell or share individual data. Software vendors never get raw data.

Cookies. This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. The embedded Tally form is governed by Tally's privacy policy.

Your rights. Access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
